Lucy and John got married last month in a beautiful field in Somerset. Weddingfest was a weekend long party complete with a tent fresh from Glastonbury, a teepee, a bonfire and hog roast. Not to mention a beautiful view of Glastonbury Tor from the camping field and the poshest festival loos I’ve ever experienced.

The gods were certainly smiling on them as it had rained solidly all week but on Saturday the clouds parted and the sun shone.

The flowers and vases were by Weddings Handmade, they used a beautiful collection of vintage cut glass vases and blue and white tea cups along with Victorian glass bottles.

There’s a glass cake stand underneath there!

Rose tea anyone?

There was a travel theme to the wedding as Lucy and John met in South America. The place names were labels with hand printed text by Lucy and John, it took them a while and names were abbreviated!

The kids all had colouring books and pencils which kept them busy.

Michelle and Danny had a wonderful day
- a pleasure to be a part of!

They married in their local church in Ealing, west London and then went to a beautiful pub down the road for their reception. The highlight for me had to be Danny’s Irish family serenading Michelle with ‘Girl from Belfast city’!
